English level test, Lite version.
Until 25 November, a public Lite version of the adaptive test MEI students take is open to everyone. It's free, it's anonymous and it's in English. A few honest notes before you start.
Before you start
- What it measures. Three skills: grammar, vocabulary and reading.
- How it works. It's adaptive: each question depends on your previous answers, so no two tests are the same.
- How long it takes. From about 20 minutes to over 40, depending on your level. Do it in one sitting: it can't be paused.
- What the result means. This is not the full test. A balance of the three skills it measures. Speaking and listening aren't part of it, so take it with a pinch of salt: a good indication, not a certificate.
- Your data. No account and no name: at the end you see your result on screen, anonymously. If you want, you can also leave your email to receive your result by email too, or to stay in touch with us.

The full version, for MEI students
MEI students take the full test every 2 months, as part of their path. Their tutor and Marcus read the results skill by skill and compare them over time, so the plan follows what really changes.
