Presentations & Public SpeakingLevel 2
Minimum level required: B1+/B2. This course does not cover basic grammar, general vocabulary or presentation fundamentals — it assumes you can already deliver a presentation in English and want it to be considerably more effective. Not sure about your level? Book a free Chemistry Call before enrolling — we’ll help you work out whether this course is right for you.
Every session has a concrete goal. By the end of the course you won’t just have improved your English — you’ll know how to make an audience in English agree with you, and how to stay in control when they don’t.
Two sessions a week for four weeks. Each session has a precise objective, materials shared before the meeting, and practical tasks to complete between sessions.
The real work doesn’t end when Zoom closes. Here’s what you get with every edition of the course.
Each cohort is led by one MEI tutor from our group course faculty. Your tutor is confirmed when the cohort is finalised — typically just after the registration deadline.

I’d presented to international clients for years and had never once been told that my presentations were clear, correct and completely flat. Being recorded in session one was unpleasant and entirely accurate. The Q&A work is what I use most: I stopped answering every question exhaustively, which turns out to have been the thing making me sound defensive.

We were pitching to an international investor group and my deck was doing all the work while I narrated it. What changed was learning to make a claim and then show the chart, rather than the reverse. Small structural change, completely different room. The improvisation session paid for itself when we were cut from twenty minutes to seven (still made me angry though 😂).
